21 Jul Samsung Commercial: The Snail
Rob traveled to West India to collaborate with director AG Rojas on the now critically acclaimed Samsung commercial produced by Park Pictures with Leo Burnette as agency for Samsung. Rob directed, DP’d and coordinated the water unit and 2nd unit on land. A special surf action water housing was built for the Arri Alexa Mini with Ultra Primes. The results were stunning and matched beautifully to the main units work with AG and Alwin Kuchler as DP.
While working in India presented it’s challenges nobody was worried. The boy Ajis was a natural actor and India offered stunning visuals and locations. It was worth the trip and a great experience for all.
